The Visionaries of the Promise tells the stories of leaders who shared Theodore Herzl’s vision of Der Judenstaat, who lent their support and helped to lay the foundation for the establishment of the nation of Israel. The Military Heroes exhibit introduces visitors to military and political leaders who acted on behalf of the Jewish people to make the vision of an independent state a reality. The inspiring story of the Machal is included in this exhibit.
